Brazil pricing, 2026

EOR Brazil pricing for CLT employees

Three things decide what a CLT hire in Brazil costs you: the employer charges on pay, about 35.8% in our São Paulo example for 2026; our fee from USD 560 for each employee monthly; and a one-off set-up fee, charged at the start in most cases and stated in writing. Salary and charges pass through at the amount paid.

Cost questions

Questions finance teams ask

What does from USD 560 pay for?+
The fee is fixed per employee, not per task, and it is the same for every CLT hire we employ as employer of record. It covers the contract, payroll, eSocial and FGTS Digital filings and HR support. At ECB rates on 24 Sep 2026, from USD 560 is about R$ 2.901,24.
Does a higher salary raise the fee?+
No. from USD 560 applies whether the salary is the 2026 national minimum of R$ 1.621,00 a month (Decreto 12.797/2025) or R$ 15.000,00. A flat fee keeps your forecast simple, and the statutory costs, which do rise with pay, stay visible on their own lines.
What do employer contributions add in 2026?+
Employer charges add roughly 35.8% to each payment in 2026: employer INSS at 20% (uncapped), RAT between 1% and 3% scaled by the company’s FAP, terceiros of 5.8% for most service employers, and FGTS of 8%. The same rates hit the 13º salário and the férias one-third. On a R$ 15.000,00 monthly salary in São Paulo, the annual employer cost comes to about R$ 271.600,00.
What is charged at cost?+
Salary, employer contributions, agreed benefits such as meal vouchers or a health plan, and approved expenses pass through at the amount paid. Termination costs are passed on the same way: notice pay (aviso prévio), between 30 and 90 days according to length of service, and the 40% FGTS fine.
Which currencies can you invoice?+
We price our fee in US dollars; salary and charges arise in Brazilian reais (BRL). If your finance team would rather pay in another currency, such as GBP or EUR, say so and the written costing will confirm which options are available before the first hire.
Is there a minimum term, and what is notice?+
Your service agreement with us states its own notice period, which we confirm in writing before the first hire. The employee’s CLT contract is separate. A dismissal without cause carries aviso prévio, a 30-day base with 3 more days per completed year to a ceiling of 90 (Lei 12.506/2011), and the employer pays a further 40% of the FGTS balance deposited (Lei 8.036/1990). Final settlement falls due within 10 days.
