About EOR Brazil’s work

Brazilian staff, paid
and employed by us under the CLT

EOR Brazil is a standalone employer of record for companies outside Brazil. Your hires are employed under the CLT by us as employer of record, and we run payroll, filings and HR questions. The fee starts at USD 560 a month per person, plus a set-up fee as a rule.

A company abroad that wants one engineer in São Paulo meets the CLT, eSocial, FGTS Digital and a convenção coletiva before the first payday. EOR Brazil exists so that hire can start without you opening a Brazilian LTDA.

Our story

The gap we saw

Brazil asks a lot of a first-time employer: a 13º salário, 30 days’ férias with a one-third bonus, about 35.8% in employer charges and monthly reporting through eSocial. Many foreign firms pay people as PJ contractors instead, which carries a misclassification risk. We wanted a plainer route.

That route is a CLT contract with EOR Brazil as employer of record, one named contact for you, and a flat monthly fee you can quote to your finance team.

How we compare with a typical multi-country EOR

Where our approach differs

Typical EOR
EOR Brazil
✕Covers many countries, so Brazilian rules share one support queue with dozens of others
✓Works on Brazil alone, so your contact knows the CLT, eSocial and your hire’s CCT
✕Quotes a monthly figure that can leave out the 13º salário and the holiday one-third
✓Quotes a full year: twelve salaries, the 13º, the férias one-third and employer charges
✕Lists a ‘from’ price that varies by country or by quote
✓from USD 560 per employee a month, close to R$ 2.901,24 (ECB rate, 24 Sep 2026)

Ground rules

Six points on how we work

These principles shape how we handle every hire in Brazil, from the first cost quote to the final rescisão.

We are the employer

The CLT contract carries our signature as employer, with the duties that go with it. That line stays clear.

A contact with a name

Each client has one named contact for every Brazilian hire, from the S-2200 admission to the last payslip.

Replies from people

Questions reach people who handle Brazilian payroll and CLT matters as their everyday job, never an automated inbox.

Filings done up front

Contracts, CTPS entries and eSocial events are completed before the start date, with nothing left for later.

Add staff as you grow

Start with one employee and add more across Brazilian states as you grow. If you later open an LTDA, we help plan the move.

Prices in plain figures

A flat monthly fee, any set-up fee named in your quote, and the full-year employment cost in reais.

Your support

Who looks after your team?

Four roles cover each employee in Brazil, and each works with the Brazilian systems named below.

One person, every hire

One named contact for approvals, invoices and questions, who knows each hire and their convenção coletiva

eSocial and tax filings

Monthly eSocial events, DCTFWeb returns and DARF payments to the Receita Federal, plus FGTS deposits through FGTS Digital, each due by day 20 of the next month.

Help for your employees

Help for employees with férias bookings, the 13º salário, vale-transporte and payslip questions under the CLT.

CTPS, contract, admission

CLT contracts with any teletrabalho terms in writing, the CTPS digital entry within 5 business days and the eSocial S-2200 admission sent before work begins.

All four roles work on Brazilian CLT payroll every month of the year

Where we cover

Employees anywhere in Brazil

Your employees can live and work in any Brazilian state, in an office you rent or from home under teletrabalho terms. Pay floors vary: São Paulo state sets its own regional minimum (check the current figure) and collective agreements differ by sector and territory.

Coverage

São Paulo and every other state of Brazil, for office-based or remote staff

Which role do you want to fill?

Send the role, the city and a salary range. We return an annual cost in reais covering the 13º, férias and employer charges, plus the steps to a start date.
